A 19-year-old male pedestrian was killed after a bus hit him on Blouberg Road in Tableview, Cape Town this morning.
The deceased was found to have sustained suspected multiple severe fractures.
It appears as though he was killed on impact.
The teenager was on his way to work when the bus hit him as he was apparently attempting to cross the busy road.
Apart from being in shock, the bus driver and one passenger sustained no injuries.
It is unclear exactly how the collision occurred and the relevant investigations are underway.
