One man has been killed after his truck collided with a cow, causing his truck to overturn on the R702 near Lindly in the Free State.
ER24 paramedics responded to the scene to find the driver trapped in the wreckage. Emergency workers made their way to the vehicle, finding it on its side.
On their assessment, paramedics discovered the driver showed no signs of life and later declared him dead.
Witnesses on scene said that the truck had apparently hit a cow, causing him to swerve off the road, and roll numerous times.
Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
