A man died when he was shot and set alight in Leondale near Germiston early today.
ER24 paramedics arrived on scene to find SAP services already on scene and the deceased’s body lying near the off-ramp, his clothes still smouldering. Evidence on scene showed that the patient had sustained a bullet wound to his head before being set alight.
The exact cause of the incident is unknown and the relevant investigations are underway.
