A 10-year-old boy was killed when a taxi hit him along the M13 in Pinetown, KwaZulu Natal earlier this morning.
The boy’s lifeless body, clad in a school uniform, was found lying on the busy highway just after 7:00.
He was found to have succumbed to the severe suspected head injuries he sustained due to the impact.
The collision apparently occurred when the learner was attempting to cross the roadway when the taxi, traveling towards Hillcrest, hit him.
No other people were injured in the collision.
The matter is currently under investigation.
