15 people have been injured in an collision on the Dududu area

Earlier this afternoon paramedics from KZN Emergency Medical Services attended to an incident, involving a mini bus, which had reportedly left the road, near the Dlangezwa clinic in the Dududu area on the KZN south Coast.

The first responding paramedics arrived on scene to find that 15 people who were on board the minibus had been injured. These patients who had injuries ranging from severe to minor. The patients were counted, triaged and treated by the paramedics, while more ambulances responded to the scene. Once the team of paramedics had stabilized all the patients they were transported to G J Crookes hospital for further assessment and care by the facilities medical staff.

The cause of the incident and the circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated by the police.
