Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a shooting incident on Bloed Street in Pretoria this afternoon.
Upon their arrival on scene they found a man in a critical condition.
The man was treated on scene and rushed to hospital for the urgent medical care required.
Exact detail to the cause of the incident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
