An 11-year-old girl was seriously injured when a vehicle hit her on Hillgrove Drive in Newlands West, KwaZulu Natal this morning.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the busy road and treated the child who had sustained multiple suspected leg fractures.
Paramedics administered pain medication and thereafter transported to Medicinic Entabeni for further medical treatment.
The driver of the vehicle that hit her sustained no injuries in the collision.
The incident is currently under investigation by local authorities.
