Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on Daniel Malan Avenue in Floridat this morning after 07h00.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that three vehicles were involved in a rear-end collision resulting in two people sustaining serious injuries.
Both patients were treated on scene before they were transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
