A two – two –year-old girl is in a serious condition after she sustained 25% burns with hot water at her Diepsloot home this afternoon. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events is still speculative.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found the child to be in a very serious condition with partial and full thickness burns. After the child was stabilised at the scene they airlifted her with the Netcare one medical helicopter to a specialised facility for the care that she required.
