Today Rescue Care paramedics have honoured Mandela Day by trying to make a difference in Durban Central.
Rescue Care paramedics distributed 67 meal hampers to the less fortunate people in and around Durban. Basic Life Support Medic Mfundo Luthuli describes his experience giving to the less fortunate “Most times we take for granted that we have food on our table and nice warm blankets in these winter days, today I realised that there are many people who are not as lucky and it was a privilege to give them a nice warm meal. Their facial expressions make it all worthwhile.”
