A man is fighting for his life after he fell about ten meters at a construction site in Kwa Mashu this afternoon. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and had to immobilise the man in a specialised stretcher before he was hoisted to the floor level where the ambulance was standing by. After the patient was placed on a ventilator paramedics transported him to a local hospital under the constant care of an advanced life support paramedic.
