Netcare 911 paramedics responded to an accident on the R102 near the Amatakulu area this morning at around 07h30.
Upon their arrival on scene they found one person in a critical condition after a motor vehicle overturned.
The injured patient was treated on scene and rushed to hospital for urgent medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
