Five people have been left injured after seven vehicles collided on Umgeni Road near Adrian Road on Friday evening around 11pm in Durban.
Rescue Care paramedics arrived to find the road totally closed on both sides with smashed cars in the roadway. Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that five people had sustained various injuries. They were stabilized on scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for the further care that they required.
It is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
