A man in his 20s was killed in a house fire in the Phutanang area in the Northern Cape early this morning.
ER24 paramedics arrived at the private residence and found provincial fire services had already extinguished the blaze.
Emergency crews inspected the smouldering remains and found the patient lying amongst the houses remains.
Unfortunately the man had already succumbed to his severe injuries.
The cause of the fire is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
