Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to a fire in Willowton Industrial area, Pietermaritzburg in KZN.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that two people were in a serious condition and one person sustained moderate injuries.
All the patients were treated on scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the incident and preceding events will remain the subject of an investigation.
