A taxi accident on the M13 Durban bound just past the St Johns Road Bridge has left eleven people injured, four seriously so. A report from the scene indicates that a vehicle rear ended the taxi while it was driving towards Durban this afternoon at around 15h56.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found the roadway to be obstructed by the twisted frames of the vehicles, the patients were found at the side of the roadway. After paramedics stabilised the injured on scene they transported them to a nearby hospital for the care that they required.
