A side-impact accident on Marine Drive in Uvongo has left one person injured.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found the vehicles in the roadway after a light delivery vehicle collided with a motor vehicle.
After assessment it was found that one person sustained serious injuries and after receiving treatment on scene, the patient was transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events are unknown and will remain the subject of a police investigation.
