Pedestrian hit by vehicle in Robertville left fighting for his life

A 35-year-old pedestrian was left critically injured in a collision at around midnight on Main Road in Robertville, Gauteng.

The man was discovered by ER24 paramedics who found that his leg was amputated during the incident.

He was immediately stabilised on scene and transported to Leratong Hospital for urgent medical treatment.

The vehicle that hit him was not present on scene.

The collision is under investigation by local authorities.
