Three people were injured in an accident between a heavy goods truck and a light delivery vehicle along Road 701 in Chatsworth this morning. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 the provincial ambulance service and the fire department arrived at the scene and found that two adults and a six – year-old child had sustained injuries in the accident. The child was taken to hospital before our arrival with alleged head injuries. The two seriously injured adults were treated at the scene and then transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
