A man in his late 30s was killed this morning after a container door slammed on his head in Mills Road in Hamilton, Bloemfontein.
When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene, they found the patient lying on the floor next to the truck and container.
ER24 paramedics assessed the patient, but found that he had unfortunately already succumbed to his injuries.
It is understood that the door of the container swung and struck the man on his head while the container was being moved.
Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
