A fourteen-year-old-boy is in a critical condition following a near drowning incident at a pool in Northmead, Benoni this afternoon.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the life guard on duty had pulled the lifeless boy out of the swimming pool and initiated CPR.
The paramedics continued tirelessly with resuscitation until the boy’s vital signs were recovered.
The boy was rushed to hospital under the care of an Advanced Live Support paramedic for the urgent medical care that he required.
