A man in his thirties is in a critical condition after he was hit by a vehicle along Bishopstowe Road in Pietermaritzburg this evening at around 20h00. A report from the scene indicates that the man was hit by a car and was trapped under the vehicle when it came to rest.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and worked fervently to stabilise the patient before transporting him to a local hospital for the care that he required.
