Netcare 911 paramedics were travelling on the N12 from Klerksdorp to Potchefstroom in the early morning hours, when they drove upon an a vehicle that overturned on the N12.
Upon assessment of the occupants they found that one occupant of the vehicle were in a serious condition.
The injured patient was treated on scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the rollover and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
