A 28-year-old man is in a critical condition after he was hit by a car yesterday evening at the CR Swart and Zuurfontein Road intersection in Kempton Park.
ER24 paramedics and emergency services arrived on scene and found the male patient lying on the side of the road in a serious condition.
Paramedics assessed the patient and found that he had sustained multiple fractures to his legs and arms.
The patients was treated and stabilise on scene before he was transported to a Thembisa Hospital for further treatment.
It is believed that the man failed to notice the oncoming vehicle when he attempted to cross the road. The driver of the vehicle fortunately did not sustain any injuries.
Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
