A man in his 30s was killed this morning after he was hit by a vehicle at the Cambridge and Witkoppen Road intersection in Paulshof.
On arrival at scene, ER24 paramedics discovered the patient lying on the side of the road in a large ditch. It was apparent to paramedics that the man had been through roughly 10 meters.
Paramedics assessed the patient and found that he showed no signs of life. They immediately started CPR and advanced life support was began to restore the patient’s vital sign but after 20 minutes, the patient was unfortunately declared dead on scene.
Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
