A pedestrian accident on the R102 in Shakaskraal this afternoon has left a seven – year – old boy with serious injuries. It is believed that the child tried to run across the roadway at around 15h00 when he landed in front of a vehicle.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found the child lying on the roadway. After he was stabilised at the scene they transported him to a local hospital for the care that he required.
