One man died and another was critically injured late last night when a vehicle rolled in George Lubbe Street in Bloemfontein. It is believed the vehicle rolled multiple times.
When ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene they found a heavily damaged vehicle. The driver was ejected from the vehicle. Paramedics assessed the man. He had sustained multiple injuries. Unfortunately he had succumbed to his injuries. The passenger was trapped in the vehicle.
Fire and Rescue services used the jaws of life to extricate the man from the vehicle. The man, who had also sustained multiple injuries, was assessed and treated. He was transported to hospital for further treatment.
The exact cause of the incident is unknown.
Authorities were on scene.
