Fifteen people have been injured after the taxi they were in collided with a car before rolling several times at the intersection of NMR Ave and Argyle Road just after 06:15 this morning.
Rescue Care paramedics arrived on scene to find the injured lying all over the roadway. Immediately more ambulances were dispatched to assist with the multiple patient scene. Once more ambulances and Advanced Life Support units had arrived on scene all of the injured were stabilized before being transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
