A three-year-old boy has tragically lost his life following a drowning incident in Ramsgate this morning at around 09h00.
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the incident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
Reports from the scene indicate that the little boy was found by members of the family who contacted emergency services for assistance.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and assisted with resuscitation on the little boy for almost an hour but tragically he was declared dead at the scene. There was sadly nothing further that could be done for the little boy.
