One person has been killed and two people have been seriously injured after a head on collision on the M7 West bound before Bellville this afternoon.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on scene to find total carnage. Two vehicles had collided in a head on collision west bound. Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that one of the drivers had suffered severe injuries and had passed away before paramedics arrived. Two other occupants of the other vehicle had sustained serious injuries and were stabilized on scene before being transported to nearby hospitals for the further care that they required.
At this stage it is unclear how the collision occurred however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
