3 injured as vehicle crashes off bridge, Durban

Three people have escaped with moderate injuries after two vehicles collided at the junction of NMR Avenue and Argyle Road before one vehicle collided through the barrier and landed on NMR Avenue just before 1pm Saturday.

Rescue Care paramedics arrived on scene to find that three people from both the vehicles had sustained various injuries and immediately began treating them. One patient had sustained serious injuries and required Advanced Life Support intervention to assist in stabilizing them. Once all of the injured had been stabilized on scene they were transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.

At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were in attendance and will be investigating further.
