A Hammersdale woman sustained a severe electric shock after an electrical appliance fell into the bath were she was doing washing. Exact detail to the cause for the appliance falling into the water is still speculative.
Netcare 911 was called to the scene but was diverted to a local clinic as family members raced the woman to the clinic. Paramedics stabilised the injured female and then transported her to hospital for further treatment.
