A bus and minibus have collided in Umlazi, south of Durban, earlier this morning.
The cause of the crash is not known at this stage and the police are investigating. The crash has left 13 patients injured. One patient was critically injured, while the remaining 12 patients had sustained serious injuries. Paramedics from KZN Emergency Medical Services and a private ambulance treated the patients on scene.
Once the patients had been stabilized the patients were transported to health institutions in the area for continued medical care.
