A 22-year-old-man was injured this morning when is arm got caught in a conveyor belt at a factory in Montague Gardens in the Western Cape.
When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene, they found the patient sitting in the canteen, his arm being supported by his colleague.
Paramedics assessed the patient and found that he had sustained a fracture and soft tissue injuries to his arm. He was treated on scene and thereafter transported to Mediclinic Milnerton for further treatment.
It is understood that the man had been working at the time when his arm got caught in the conveyor belt.
