One person died and two others were critically injured in Curie Boulevard in Vanderbijlpark in the early hours of this morni9ng.
It is understood that the driver of the vehicle lost control and hit a tree.
ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found the badly damaged vehicle. Two women were trapped in the vehicle and a man was ejected.
Paramedics assessed the man. Unfortunately there was nothing paramedics could do for him. He was declared dead. Fire and Rescue Services extricated the women from the vehicle. They were assessed and it was found that they sustained critical injuries.
They were treated and transported to local hospitals for further medical care.
The exact cause of the incident is unknown however authorities were on scene for further investigations.
