A motorcyclist was injured following an accident on Gordon Hood Avenue near South Street in Centurion late last night, involving a motorcycle and motor vehicle.
Netcare 911 paramedics received the call for assistance after 22h00 last night and upon their arrival at the scene found a motorcyclist lying on the roadway.
Upon assessment of the twenty-seven-year-old motorcyclist, paramedics found that the man had sustained critical injuries during the crash. The man was treated at the scene, placed on a trauma board and rushed to hospital for the urgent medical care that he required.
The occupants of the motor vehicle were not injured during the crash.
