Ten people were injured following an accident at the intersection of Solomon Mahlangu Drive and Disselboom Street in Wapadrand, Pretoria this morning.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found that alight delivery vehicle’s tyre burst. The vehicle was transporting people on the back.
Fortunately the driver managed to bring the vehicle to a standstill in the roadway.
Upon assessment of all the occupants of the vehicle, paramedics found that ten people, including the driver sustained minor to moderate injuries.
All the injured patients were treated a the scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
