Three vehicles collide injuring six persons in Durban South

Six people were injured last night after three vehicles collided on the N2 in Umgabba, Durban South.

When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene, they found the three wrecked vehicles in the middle of the road. One of the vehicles lay on its side.

On assessment, paramedics found that six people had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. One of the patients lay trapped beneath the overturned vehicle.

Paramedics and rescue services had to perform rapid emergency manouvers to remove to patient from beneath the vehicle.

Once freed, paramedics treated all the patients and transported them to nearby hospitals for urgent medical attention.
