Two men were injured following an accident on the N11 in Ermelo.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found that a heavy goods vehicle left the roadway and overturned several times.
Upon assessment of the occupants, paramedics found that one man sustained serious injuries while a second man was found to be in a critical condition. One of the men were entrapped in the vehicle.
Once both men were removed from the vehicle, they were treated at the scene and transported to hospital for further urgent medical care that they required.
The Netcare1 helicopter was activated to airlift the critically injured man from hospital to a hospital in Johannesburg for the medical care he required.
