Two people were treated for smoke inhalation after a fire started at a flat in Westbury, Johannesburg.
When ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene the found one unit in a block of flats alight. Fire and Rescue Services extinguished the fire.
One man believed to be in his 20’s and another believed to be in his 30’s were assessed. They were treated for smoke inhalation and transported to the Helen Hospital for further medical care.
The exact cause of the incident is unknown however authorities were on scene for further investigations.
