A man is in a critical condition following a shooting incident on Claim Street near Koch Street in Joubert Park this evening.
Netcare 911 paramedics received the call for assistance at around 19h30 and upon arrival at the scene found a man lying on the ground next to the roadway.
Upon assessment of the man, paramedics found the man in a critical condition after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds.
The forty-four-year-old man was treated at the scene and rushed to hospital for the urgent medical care that he required, under the constant care of an advanced life support paramedic.
