Three men were lucky to have sustained moderate injuries only after a sandbank collapsed on a construction site in Mount Moraih this afternoon.
Crisis Medical paramedics along with members of SAPS search and rescue as well as Ethekwini Fire and Rescue services worked tirelessly for over an hour on scene to free the men.
Once freed all three men were stabilized on scene before being taken to a nearby hospital for further care.
It’s unknown what caused the incident however the necessary investigations are underway.
