A man is in a critical condition after sustaining burns during an industrial incident in Isando, Kempton Park this morning.
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the incident and preceding events are still unclear and will remain the subject of an investigation.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and upon assessment found the man to be in a critical condition.
The Netcare1 helicopter was activated to airlift the injured man to hospital for the urgent medical care he required. The man was treated at the scene while paramedics awaited the arrival of Netcare1.
