12 people were injured when they were ejected from a bakkie that overturned in Edendale Road in Taylors Halt, in Pietermaritzburg in the early hours of this morning.
ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found the bakkie in a veld.
The patients, one man and 11 women, were lying all over.
The patients were assessed and found to have sustained minor to moderate injuries.
They were treated and transported to the Northdale and Greys hospitals for further medical care.
The exact cause of the incident is unknown however authorities were on scene for further investigations.
