This morning just after 8.30am EMER-G-MED paramedics as well as other services responded to a reports of a serious bus accident on the corners of Barry Hertzog and Braids Road in Greenside.
On arrival paramedics found that a bakkie had collided into the back of a bus at a high speed.
Paramedics triaged the patients finding that two people had sustained critical injuries, four had sustained moderate injuries and multiple others had sustained minor injuries.
Paramedics treated the patients on-scene before they were transported to nearby facilities for further care.
The two critically injured patients required Advanced Life Support care.
JMPD were on-scene to investigate the events leading up to the collision.
