This afternoon Netcare 911 paramedics received a call for a vehicle that rolled on the N1 between Zambezi and Stormvool Roads in Pretoria at around 14h30. Exact detail to the cause of the crash and preceding events is still speculative and will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found accident debris and the twisted frame of the vehicle spread over a large area. After paramedics examined the injured it was found that a man had tragically died before our arrival due to the extensive injuries that he sustained, three others sustained serious injuries.
Paramedics stabilised the injured at the scene and after immobilising them on trauma boards they transported the injured to a local hospital for the care that they required.
