3 injured in Durban CBD crash

Three people were left with moderate injuries after two bakkies collided in the early hours of Saturday morning at the intersection of Smith Street and Gardiner Street.

Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that one of the bakkies had lost control after the impact and crashed into the nearby Absa Bank. Paramedics found that three people from both vehicles had sustained moderate injuries as a result of the collision. Paramedics stabilized them on the scene before transporting them to a nearby hospital for further care that they required.

At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
