Crisis Medical paramedics along with members of other emergency services responded to the scene of a shooting in Kikembe Drive, Umhlanga Rocks shortly after midday today.
On arrival we found a single light motor vehicle abandoned on a dirt road.
A male believed to be in his late twenties had suffered fatal gunshot wounds and was declared dead on arrival.
The scene was contained and handed over to the South African Police Services as a crime scene.
