A driver of a vehicle is fighting for his life in hospital after losing control of his vehicle and rolling several times on Saturday evening on the M4 North bound before Quality Street offramp.
Rescue Care Paramedics responded to the call just before 6pm on Saturday evening. They arrived on the scene to find the critically injured man lying in the fast lane and had suffered critical injuries. Advanced Life Support intervention was needed and the patient was placed on a manual ventilator due to the severity of his injuries. Once he had been stabilized on the scene he was transported to a nearby hospital for the further care that he required.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the accident however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
