Six people have been injured after a four car pile up on the m4 North bound before Blue Lagoon offramp around 12:30pm on Thursday.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that four vehicles had collided, one having rolled several times. Paramedics found that a total of six people had sustained various injuries and more ambulances were called to assist. Once more resources had arrived the injured were stabilized on the scene before being transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.
Traffic was severely affected as only one lane out of four were open to allow traffic to flow past.
AT this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS and Metro Police were on scene and will be investigating further.
